About NuLife Behavioral Health Indiana
Our Story
Founded by Alex Zeiger and Sam Glick, NuLife Behavioral Health came out of a discussion exploring how their respective professions—pharmacy and psychology—had been impacted by substance abuse and mental health issues.
Although not everyone can spend 1 to 3 months in treatment, we’ve made effective outpatient treatment more accessible and flexible than ever. We’re meeting the need for treatment through personalized, holistic treatment plans in a warm, welcoming environment. We understand how disruptive substance use and mental health disorders can be to everyday life, and our programs allow you to live at home while completing treatment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support individuals and families in reaching a place of meaningful, long-term recovery. By treating substance use and mental health in new, innovative ways, our clients can take accountability for their recovery and attain lasting well-being.
Our Vision
At NuLife Behavioral Health Indiana, we believe recovery is more than just abstinence from addictive substances like drugs and alcohol. Abstinence alone is not recovery. Living a meaningful life of recovery requires not only abstinence but the repair and maintenance of relationships damaged by substance use and willing participation in meaningful activities that connect to a larger community.
Similarly, mental health disorders can be disruptive and debilitating, interfering with individuals’ ability to live on their own terms. We believe that integration and connection are necessary for recovery, and living a life centered on ever-improving well-being is possible.
We utilize evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in conjunction with holistic practices to help each client mitigate the chronic stress and trauma associated with addiction and mental health disorders. Through an individualized approach, the client will be able to heal, repair relationships with family and friends, and lead a life of meaning and purpose.
